  • Coach Alex

Alex began playing volleyball at SUNYIT in 2008. An unlikely player due to his experience and size, he quickly picked up the game. By the middle of his first year, with the newly formed NCAA DIII Men's Volleyball Team at SUNYIT, he was playing as their starting libero continuing through his senior year. Alex was ranked 5th (2009) and 1st (2010) in the nation in digs per game respectively. After graduating in 2010 Alex moved back to the area and is still an avid volleyball player in the community. Alex has almost a decade of coaching experience in club and at the collegiate level.

  • Coach Kelli

Kelli made the switch from competitive cheerleading to volleyball in seventh grade when she played for the first time on her school's modified team. She has since never looked back. She was named All-Conference Honorable Mention and All-League during her varsity years at Westlake High School. Kelli specialized in defense, playing both Defensive Specialist and Libero during her volleyball career. Her Libero skills helped lead her varsity team to win All-League, All-Section, and make it to the State Semi-Finals during her senior year of high school. In college, while working on her Biology and Chemistry Degree, she continued to play during intramurals and even help mentor current Westlake H.S. players. Kelli loved her years being part of a team and playing volleyball and wants to pass on her passion and knowledge for the sport to other athletes. She is currently coaching for Edgemont H.S.

  • Coach Thomas

Thomas took a roundabout way to the volleyball courts. In high school, he was captain of both his Soccer and Tennis teams, gaining all league honors in 2007 & 2008. But it was while studying at the University of Albany, the courts began calling him during a volleyball intramural league. There, he gained experience and love for the game.
